Description

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

584 tools for product management in one course: 17 downloadable tool files, 371 ready-to-use templates, procedures, checklists, AI prompts and formulas, 184 models and methods, and 12 services and apps shown on screen.

Open a lecture, take the tool, use it on your own product.

Why good products fail

A team builds a feature for three months, and users ignore it. The roadmap is a list of requests from whoever asked loudest. Nobody can say which number the product is supposed to move. The usual cause is the same: the team went straight to building and skipped the part where you find out what the customer needs and whether it will pay back.

What changes after this course

You know the customer’s task before you design the solution. You have one metric the product is judged by and the numbers that feed it. You write requirements a developer can build from and a tester can check. You see the bias in your own product decisions. You plan delivery with a scope, a schedule and risks. And you take the product to market with a position, a channel plan and a budget.

What is inside: 584 tools, counted file by file

You do not have to take this number on trust. Open any lecture and read its description: every tool inside is listed there by name.

  • 17 downloadable tool files: a product numbers sheet, a PRD template, an elicitation tracker, a stakeholder register, an interview script, two requirements traceability matrices, a user stories and acceptance criteria template, a process analysis, a process improvement proposal, a change impact analysis, a scope change log and KPI dashboards
  • 371 ready-to-use tools inside the presentations:
  • 118 templates and sample documents: product strategy one-pager, North Star metric selector, customer journey map, experiment canvas

Who is teaching

I am Mike, the #1 HR instructor on Udemy, with 1,800,000+ course enrollments from 170,000 students, and the author of about 200 books on Amazon. I built the people system at Preply as it became a unicorn and worked at Wargaming, iDeals and Alfa-Bank across 20 years in HR. I hold PHRi, SHRM-CP and HCI sHRBP certifications and represent HRCI in Eastern Europe. I am also a founder and lead the strategy of my own academy.

I watched product decisions from inside two product companies. Preply started as an online marketplace of language schools. The product was good, but the price of a lesson was small and people went to the schools directly, so it did not pay back. The team made a pivot to tutors, and that is what took off. At Wargaming an experienced product team once planned an update, the news leaked to the forums, and players organized a boycott until the release was stopped. We had felt that we knew everything. After that the team started with discovery and definition instead of jumping straight to development.
