Why good products do not sell
The product team builds. Marketing starts when the product is ready and describes it in the words of the team and not of the customer. Sales gets leads that do not match the offer. Service learns about the launch from the first angry message. Each function does its job, and the launch still fails, because nobody owned the path from the product to the money as a whole.
What changes after this course
You choose the route to market before you build the campaign. The product has a clear customer and a metric. The brand has a position and a message. Marketing has a strategy on one page and a dashboard for each channel. Sales has scripts for the real objections. Service is ready on the first day. And one funnel with shared definitions joins all of them.

Who is teaching
I am Mike, the #1 HR instructor on Udemy, with 1,800,000+ course enrollments from 170,000 students, and the author of about 200 books on Amazon. I built the people system at Preply as it became a unicorn and worked at Wargaming, iDeals and Alfa-Bank across 20 years in HR. I hold PHRi, SHRM-CP and HCI sHRBP certifications and represent HRCI in Eastern Europe. I am also a founder and lead the strategy of my own academy.
I take my own products to market. For one course launch I made the first lesson free and gave it the strongest content, not an introduction. About 2,000 people registered. It was at 9:30 in the morning, and only 270 came, about 10 percent. There were two landing pages, one for the course and one for the first lesson, and about 50 participants at the start. At Wargaming I saw another side of the market. The games were free, the user base was huge, and the company found through segmentation that fewer than half a percent of users brought 80 percent of the income. The other users were needed too: those few had to have someone to play against.
How to use the course
