Course content

Requirements

  • A Microsoft 365 account. A Copilot licence is recommended for the full experience; free Copilot Chat covers a good portion
  • No coding, formulas, Power Platform, Copilot Studio or any technical background needed — if you can type a sentence, you can complete this course
  • No prior experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT or any other AI tool is needed. We start from absolute zero
  • Basic everyday familiarity with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Teams is helpful. You do not need to be good at any of them
  • A Windows PC or Mac with a modern browser. A microphone is useful for Teams lectures but not essential
  • A willingness to try each demo on your own real work, so you finish with genuine time savings rather than just notes

LIVE COURSE, CONTINUOUSLY UPDATED

Microsoft 365 Copilot changes almost every month, so this course is maintained as a living course and updated as Copilot’s capabilities change.

  • New lectures on building no-code Copilot agents, including a grounded customer service agent and a sales reporting agent

  • Updated coverage of Copilot Chat, Copilot Pages and the refreshed Microsoft 365 Copilot app

  • New Excel section on Copilot Advanced Analysis with messy real-world data

The complete, practical guide to Microsoft 365 Copilot for non-technical professionals. No coding required.

If you spend your working day in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams, and you keep hearing that AI will save you hours but nobody has shown you exactly how, this course shows you.

Microsoft 365 Copilot is the AI assistant built into the apps you already use, grounded in your own emails, chats, meetings and files. Every demo is recorded on one realistic business, Pashun Sports, a small sports t-shirt brand selling into the USA, with a fabric supplier, a website to update, an inbox that never empties and far too many spreadsheets. You play the non-technical person who keeps it all running.

Which Copilot do you have?
Before anything else, you’ll find out which Copilot version and licence you have and what your tier actually unlocks. You’ll set it up, so every demo works on your screen too.

What you will learn

  • Understand Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat and Copilot Pages, and what Copilot can and cannot see, so you use it safely

  • Copilot in Outlook: summarise long email threads, draft customer and supplier replies from one sentence, get tone coaching, triage your inbox, and prepare for any meeting in under a minute

  • Copilot in Word: draft from scratch with a prompt and a reference file, summarise long documents, rewrite for a new audience, generate tables, and write website and product copy in your brand voice

  • Copilot in Excel: ask plain-English questions about a spreadsheet, create formulas without knowing syntax, highlight, sort and filter, generate charts and PivotTables, and use Advanced Analysis on messy real-world data

  • Copilot in PowerPoint: build a full presentation from a prompt, a Word document or a PDF, generate speaker notes, rehearse your delivery, and summarise a long deck someone else sent you

  • Copilot in Teams: set up transcription and recording, get help during and after meetings, and turn meeting actions into tasks, emails and follow-ups

  • Copilot agents: know when to build one instead of prompting, use the ready-made agents Microsoft gives you, and build your first no-code agent with Copilot Studio Lite

Why choose this course?

  • Complete, start to finish: 8 sections and 34 lectures covering every major Microsoft 365 app

  • Learn on one real business: the same Pashun Sports scenario runs through every lesson, so each skill builds on the last

  • Fully practical: every lecture is a live demo on real emails, documents, spreadsheets and meetings

  • Current: built and maintained for today’s Microsoft 365 Copilot, not last year’s

  • Beginner-friendly: if you can type a sentence, you can complete this course
