Requirements

  • You do not need any past experience in finance or law to take this course. I use simple English to explain every idea. All you need is a computer and a desire to learn how businesses can do good in the world while still making a profit.

Description

I am so happy to have you here. In this course, I will show you how the world of business is changing. For a long time, people only looked at a firm’s money to see if it was a success. Today, that is not enough. To truly understand if a company is safe and strong, we must look at its impact on the planet and the people. This is what we call ESG.

We will start with the Environmental pillar. I will teach you how to track a firm’s carbon footprint and how new climate laws can hurt or help a business. You will learn about “Scope 1, 2, and 3” emissions and why every investor now talks about the “Green Transition.”

Next, we move to the Social factor. This is all about how a firm treats humans. We will look at labor rights, child labor risks in supply chains, and how to make sure workers are safe. I will explain why a happy and diverse team makes a company more likely to win in the long run.

Finally, we study Governance. This is the brain of the company. We will examine how boards are picked, how to stop bribery, and why the “Audit” must be honest. I will show you how to read between the lines of a report to find the truth.

By the end of our time together, you will know how to use these tools to pick better stocks and avoid “Greenwashing.” I use simple English and clear examples so you can learn fast and feel ready to invest with confidence.
