Requirements

  • A basic understanding of what makes a website or mobile app easy (or frustrating) to use. Familiarity with modern design tools (specifically Figma). No coding experience is required—this course focuses strictly on front-end user experience and design logic.

Description

Making an app look “pretty” is only 10% of a Product Designer’s job. The other 90% is solving complex human problems. If a user cannot find the checkout button, or if a visually impaired user cannot read your light-grey text, your product will fail. Passing an interview for a UI/UX Design role at a top-tier tech company requires you to defend your design decisions using data, psychology, and accessibility standards. The UI/UX Design & Figma: Master Mock Interviews course is designed to test your design logic under real-world constraints.

This course abandons generic art theory and throws you directly into the shoes of a Lead Product Designer. Across four massive sets of rigorous, scenario-based case studies, you will face completely unique design challenges. First, you will tackle UX Research & Psychology, figuring out how to reduce cognitive load and map user pain points. Next, you will dive into UI Design & Accessibility, testing your ability to enforce WCAG contrast ratios and establish 8pt Grid systems.

The exams get progressively more technical as you move into the software. The third section rigorously tests your mastery of Figma. You will be challenged on building responsive Auto Layout buttons, organizing Component sets, and creating interactive prototypes. Finally, we cover Usability Testing & Developer Handoff. You will be tested on conducting Heuristic Evaluations and communicating CSS parameters using Dev Mode. Every question features a detailed explanation to ensure you truly learn how to design products that users love.
