This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
Working alone rarely fails on the quality of the work. It fails on rhythm: while the project runs there is no time to look for the next one.
The month with no income
The project ends and you start looking, and then you discover that from first contact to first payment is six to eight weeks. So you spend those weeks earning nothing, having earned well the month before. Then a client appears, you go under water again, and the cycle repeats — which means your annual income is set less by your rate than by how many of those empty months you have. Meanwhile the client from last year, who was pleased with the work, has quietly gone somewhere else and you never found out why, because nobody ever asked them anything.
What this course covers
Forty-four lessons that build a flow which does not depend on whether you are busy this week. Who buys, first: survey types and what each one answers, questionnaire design, scales, the length at which answers stop being honest, getting a decent response rate, and reading the open answers where the actual content lives. Then where people find you: the site, the community, referral programmes designed deliberately rather than hoped for, email, content and video, search optimisation, copy that gets clicked, paid search, web analytics, remarketing, paid social across six platforms, and measuring every channel by cost, speed and quality of what it brings. Then the funnel: auditing what you already do, the journey map, step-by-step analysis to find where people disappear, FAB, AIDA and SPIN, text that converts, writing to people who were not looking for you, strategies for when nobody has heard of you, handling negative comment, and how many messages to send before stopping. Then selling itself: the stages of a deal, buyer psychology, the value proposition canvas, personas, cold outreach qualified with BANT, the five-touch method, the elevator pitch, the ladder of persuasion, objections through LAER and Feel-Felt-Found, closing techniques, running your own day, and the numbers — acquisition cost, lifetime value, conversion, average deal. Then keeping people: the client journey audit, service standards, satisfaction and effort scores, difficult clients, escalation, and preventing the review before it is written. Finally the money: the financial model, what changes as you grow, budgeting as decision-making, the metrics that matter, and building something that survives scaling.
Three blocks recorded for a different kind of attraction
The research, channels and funnel blocks were recorded for people attracting candidates rather than customers. Paid search, web analytics, remarketing, cost per acquisition, questionnaire design, funnel analysis and writing to someone who was not looking for you behave identically whoever you are trying to reach. If anything, attracting a candidate is the harder version of the problem: a person who already has a job replies more reluctantly than a person who has one.
