This course contains the use of artificial intelligence
87 practical tools, 80 unique prompts and a source check beside every accounting draft.
A polished Copilot answer still needs a complete register, the right cutoff and a checked formula.
When a convincing draft meets an incomplete source
An invoice total can look reasonable while one aging bucket is missing. A variance explanation can reverse the meaning of a cost increase. A meeting summary can leave out an owner, and an email can state a payment status that the source never confirmed. These are concrete review problems, even when the wording reads smoothly.
A working record beside the draft
The course follows one fictional cycle-parts distributor, Zerviqel Cycle Supply, and Senior Accountant Priya Mercer. The ten artifacts connect the access map, invoice register, reconciliation, variance report, forecast, close workspace, email bank, audit pack, contract review pack and agent kit. Each file keeps the inputs, draft, check and human decision together. Every number in an output is checked against its source before reliance; this is the working rule, not a guarantee that Copilot is accurate.
Practical tools, counted without repeats
- 10 standalone HTML working files: Invoice Formula Lab, Reconciliation desk, Forecast and Scenario Builder, Audit Prep Pack and Accounting Agent Kit.
- 77 fillable working parts inside those files. Registers and maps include the invoice Register, customer master, audit Requests, request-to-document Mapping and contract Amounts and dates.
- Calculation and review parts include the Formula lab, Boundary tests, Bank bridge, Calculations and Quarter review. Each is counted once as a working part, rather than once per row, formula or screenshot.
- Document and coordination parts include the Word Memo, five-slide Slide plan, close Calendar, Status message and controller Questions. Email scripts remain inside Drafts and do not add eight more tools to the count.
- 80 unique copyable prompts: invoice-formula requests, reconciliation reviews, variance explanations, Outlook email drafts and contract-summary requests. The combined library in the final lesson repeats these same IDs and adds no new prompts.
Mike’s perspective
Mike is a founder, manager and teacher who manages his company’s budgets, reports and work with its accountant. He is the author of about 200 books on Amazon and has 1,800,000+ course enrollments and 170,000 students on Udemy. His role here is to explain Microsoft’s documented product workflows and provide practical working files. He does not claim an accounting qualification or a career as an accountant.
The course route
First, the access map and data rules establish the permitted route. Then Excel carries the invoice formulas, bank and supplier reconciliation, variance analysis and driver-based forecasting. Next, the close workspace and Outlook drafts connect the calculations to team communication. Word and Copilot Chat support the audit document pack and contract fact summary. Finally, the agent kit closes the course with instructions, tests, referral rules and the full prompt library.
Copilot demonstrations use mockup screens rebuilt from Microsoft’s public documentation; the real interface and workflow may differ. Copilot responses and business data are illustrative fictional examples. The pasted-text Chat route supports practice without an additional Copilot purchase where an eligible work account and company policy permit it. Paid features are demonstrated and preview availability varies. Agent Builder knowledge files are not promised free: paid licensing or metered billing may apply. The core PowerPoint output is an outline for manual transfer, and the close tracker includes a manual Planner handoff.
Accounting judgment stays with your controller. Contract work records stated facts and questions for legal review. Accounting standards, tax advice, audit opinions and qualification or Microsoft exam preparation are outside the scope. This is an independent course, not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.
