The Certified Associate in Project Management is the entry ticket to project work: it tells a hiring manager that you speak the language of the Project Management Institute before you have years of experience to show. First you walk through a project the predictive way: what a project is and who runs it, the charter and the WBS, the critical path and earned value, risk, change control, closing, stakeholders and conflict. Then you do the same the agile way: Scrum, Kanban, the backlog, story points and velocity. Next you cover business analysis: the business case, requirements elicitation, traceability, acceptance criteria and the product roadmap. Every one of these ten lessons ends with an exam drill of six scenario questions with the answer and the reason. Finally you sit a 30-question mock in the real domain weights at 72 seconds a question, map your weak domain and prepare the application, a six-week study plan and an exam-day routine.
